PABLO SÁNCHEZ OTERO
He was born in 1986 in A Coruña. After studying architecture for 2 years, and Furniture Making and Design for another 2 years, in 2009 he followed a guitar making course during one month in Barcelona with luthier Jean Pierre Sardin.
After that Pablo was absolutely hooked on instrument making and studied 2 years Historical Musical Instruments Making at the School of Arts and Crafts in Vigo, Spain.
He moved to Newark-on-Trent, UK, in 2011 to study at the Newark School of Guitar Making.
In the summer of 2010 he followed the vihuela making course in Sigüenza, Spain, with José L. Romanillos, Jaume Bosser and Joan Pellisa, and in summer 2012 the guitar making course with José and Liam Romanillos and Steve Rees.
In 2013 he studied Guitar Restoration at ILSA.
Since 2014 he is the guitar making teacher of the 2nd year at ILSA, which he combines with his own workshop. He is an active member of the guitar making community, having taken part in several fairs and exhibitions.
